Israel suspends sheep trade 17 Nov 2006
Israel rejected a shipment of 10,000 Australian sheep due to arrive in the country on November 3 and has suspended live sheep imports from Australia. Israeli authorities raised concerns about a shipment of sheep that arrived on October 15. The Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service is investigating unspecified health concerns with the sheep.
