Police open fire after cowboys fail
9 Mar 2007

Six cows bound for a Brisbane abattoir fell off the back of the truck causing chaos to motorway traffic on the M1 in Sydney yesterday. Cowboys from the nearby Paradise Country Australiana theme park tried to catch the cows but failed. The cows were injured, distressed and badly spooked, and very nearly caused accidents as they bolted into the traffic. Police used rifles to shoot the cows.
