Lack of healthy sheep sees dog trials cancelled
3 May 2007

The Seymour Dog Trials, scheduled for May 10-12, have been cancelled due to a lack of healthy sheep. Organiser Dan Donovan said sheep in the Seymour area were too stressed by the drought to be transported and yarded for the three-day event. He said the trials needed 400 sheep to help put about 140 dogs, mainly Border Collies, through their paces.
