Roo cull to go ahead
15 May 2007

The RSPCA says that proposed kangaroo culls at Majura and Belconnen in the ACT are a result of the Defence Department which owns the land failing to control numbers adequately. Senior RSPCA staff inspected the Belconnen site yesterday, where there are approximately 500 kangaroos which are at risk of starvation, and agreed that the cull there should proceed.
