Some hope with rain in SA
31 May 2007

The forecast for rain across most areas of South Australia over the next week is looking good. This will come on the heels of falls at the end of April and more over the past week, giving some cautious optimism on farms such on owned by Barry and Greg Harvie in the mid-north of the state. The rain has allowed them to seed crops for grain and feed for their sheep, however the future is far from certain. "It was looking good at this time last year and then it just stopped raining," said Barry Harvie.
