Country shows come down with a case of the flu
3 Sep 2007

Country shows will go on, even if the horse events have to be cancelled. In Queensland, the president of the Chamber of Agricultural Societies, Ken Pascoe, said that it was fortunate that it's the end of the show season, with only 9 of 128 shows left to go in September. The Noosa show will proceed without horses, hoping that the dog section will take over as the main event this Friday and Saturday. Kenilworth Show and Rodeo tried but were unable to reschedule their rodeo to later in the year but could not fit in with the national rodeo schedule.
