SA hopes to have horses running next year
12 Dec 2007

As long as South Australia remains free of the equine influenza virus equestrian events and horse trials in the state will recommence early next year. Horse owners are being urged to take extra care if travelling interstate over the holiday period to reduce the risk of any contamination. If anyone is moving between states and comes into contact with horses they should wash their clothes and boots and take a shower before returning home. On top of this they should stay away from any horses in South Australia for at least three days.
