Most value in land for livestock

Average sale prices increased for rural properties in Victoria in 2007, though aggregate sales fell. Data from the Valuer-General shows a median sale price of $1.6 million for a poultry farm, $486,000 for a dairy property, $452,000 for an orchard, $369,000 for a beef property, $300,000 for a sheep property, $191,000 for generic farm land and $100,000 for a hobby farm.
