Another community runs dry
22 Jan 2007

Yesterday a small town became the twelfth community to import water in New South Wales after running dry. Wallabadah near Tamworth in the state’s northwest has a population of 300 people and relies on water from dams or reservoirs. Water was trucked in after the reservoir ran dry and the town well failed.
