Dairy Farmers begins asset sell-off
31 Mar 2005

Dairy Farmers Co-operative said it would sell the land at Butter Producers Co-operative Federation Limited, a ghee producer owned jointly by Dairy Farmers and the Australian subsidiary of the financially troubled Parmalat dairy empire. The 1.5 hectare site is in a valuable and highly sought after riverside location at Hamilton, minutes from the Brisbane CBD. Dairy Farmers has advised its farmer shareholders that it is reviewing its investments.
