High-end farm sales battle for bids
22 Sep 2005

The market for farm properties in New South Wales is seeking lower priced holdings sold quickly, while "big ticket" properties battle to attract bids at auction. Recent examples include the sale of "Camelford Park" near Wellington for $1.2 million and "Oakleigh" at Armidale for $1 million, both bought locally. By contrast, no sales were made at the Hay auction by Elders of the Romani Pastoral Company's three large-scale Riverina irrigation and grazing properties.
