Farms make way for city dam
27 Apr 2006

Around 900 rural properties, mostly farms, will be compulsorily acquired by the Queensland government in the Logan and Mary river valleys inland from the Sunshine Coast. The government has approved plans for a second dam on the Logan River. The water storage will supply water to households and businesses in greater Brisbane.
