More rural properties for sale
22 Oct 2007

Expenditure on advertising for rural property sales is up 15 per cent on last year. However Herron Todd White property valuer, Kerry Herron, says that despite the increased level of advertising activity there seem to be fewer sales. "I suspect that there are people in NSW who are now reaching desperate stages and are saying 'what the hell, prices are good, let's get out because we are in for another bad year and we can't hold on any longer'," he said. With supply of properties rising and demand falling Mr Herron has warned vendors that they may be being too optimistic about the prices being sought.
