Crombie takes over at NFF 15 Jun 2006
Queensland cattle farmer David Crombie, the chairman of Meat & Livestock Australia and president of the Queensland Rugby Union has been elected as the new president of the National Farmers Federation. He takes over from Peter Corish who is expected to be a candidate for the National Party in John Anderson’s electorate of Gwydir. Mr Crombie said he wanted to raise awareness about agriculture among the wider public.
