More phone services needed in Queensland
7 Nov 2001

A recent survey of Queensland’s telecommunications market has identified the need for other phone carriers to be set up to service the needs of consumers, particularly in the rural areas where many households and businesses have very little choice in competitive services and pricing. The survey, commissioned by the Queensland government, shows that almost two thirds of Queenslanders have switched phone companies in the past year in search of better deals and services.
