Farm computer use growing

The latest farm survey by the US Department of Agriculture shows on-farm computer use has grown from 38% to 55% since 1997. Internet access has also risen dramatically from 13% in 1997 to 43% currently, with 24% of farm and ranch managers indicating they used the internet as a management tool in the year 2000.
