Aussies take lead in online banking

According to a recent Corillian International survey, Australians are among the world leaders in their use of Internet banking. The survey found that 23 per cent of Australians use online banking - more than double the number in the UK.
Ian Giles of Corillian said that Australians are very Internet-savvy when it comes to managing personal finances. "Australian consumers are embracing Internet banking... They're quite sophisticated when it comes to using technology", Giles said.
