GM canola flowers in western districts
1 Mar 2005

Bayer CropScience confirmed it was growing four experimental genetically modified crops near Horsham and Hamilton in the western districts of Victoria. GeneEthics Network took the state government to the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal after it rejected his Freedom of Information request. Bayer CropScience said the crops were never secret and that visitors toured them last year.
