Toad poison research wins funding

The Queensland government said it would provide $1 million in funding to a project to find a poison to eradicate cane toads. The funding will be used jointly by the Australasian Invasive Animal Co-operative Research Centre in Canberra and the Institute for Molecular Bioscience at the Queensland Bioscience Precinct at St Lucia in Brisbane.
