GM crop ban a competitive disadvantage

The Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics said bans on genetically modified crops would cost grain growers $3 billion in lost income over the next 10 years. ABARE said GM crops could be grown with lower input costs, and that Australian grain growers would be at a competitive disadvantage.
