Many canola crops likely to include GM seeds
7 Oct 2005

The canola crop of a Wimmera farmer has been found to be contaminated with Bayer's Liberty Link gene at a level of 0.5 per cent. The farmer bought the 'Grace' seeds for his crop from commercial seed suppliers, who understood the seeds were not genetically modified varieties. The seeds are known to have been sold to farmers in three states.
