Farmers tackle labour and skills shortage

Rural labour supply problems are so severe that production is being constrained. The National Farmers Federation is urging farmers to address the issue by taking a professional approach to human resource management and making work safety a top priority. It says that there is a misconception about farm careers with many new jobs requiring trained technicians to handle computer driven technology.
