RBA issue warning over hoax email

A hoax email is being circulated claiming that the Reserve Bank of Australia requires people to verify their debit card account details. The RBA advise consumers to ignore any such request and have issued a warning on their website at www.rba.gov.au. If anyone has replied to such an email request the RBA recommends that they contact their financial institution immediately.
