Telstra line rentals may rise
18 Aug 2006

Regional households and businesses would pay higher line rentals for fixed line home phones under recommendations to the federal government. Currently everyone across Australia pays the same price for line rental, at around $30 a month. The retail cost could be close to $140 a month to rent a fixed home phone line.
