CSIRO urges trial of GM crops

Science research organization CSIRO said growers in Queensland were missing out on opportunities to produce oilseed, chickpea and pasture using genetically modified seeds. Unlike other states, Queensland has no moratorium on GM crops, although the only commercial plantings so far involve cotton.
