Cancer fighting avocados
7 Jun 2007

While research has found that there is a toxin in avocados that kills breast cancer cells it is not as easy as eating more avocadoes. The toxin is in a form that is not digestible by humans and needs to be processed into a tablet form so that we can digest it. Research suggests that the drug will be able to be used in conjunction with an existing cancer-fighting drug meaning that lower doses would be needed of both drugs therefore reducing side-effects.
