Australia faces dry winter and spring
20 Jun 2008

Australia faces a dryer than average winter and spring according to Japan's Frontier Research Centre for Global Change. The Dept of Primary Industries said most forecasters were predicting a dry winter and dry spring in south eastern Australia. Frontier uses sea temperatures to predict cloud formations. Temperatures have fallen in the Indian Ocean close to Australia.
