Fees for vet quango will rise 18 Feb 2005
The National Farmers' Federation said it held fears for the viability of the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority, a quango with declining revenues and which recorded a loss of $5 million in 2003/2004. Agribusiness users of the APVMA will have to pay higher fees and levies under new cost recovery legislation before parliament.
