Wool trading platforms change hands

Elders and Landmark are negotiating to buy a stake in the electronic wool trading facility Wooltrade. AWEX last week decided to abandon its bid for trading board Eclipse. The AWEX facility, which was supported by Elders and Landmark, failed to meet expectations and was regarded by buyers and exporters as too complex alongside the internet-based Wooltrade.
