Wool growers soften PETA claims
1 Sep 2006

One hundred wool growers taking action against the activist group People for Ethical treatment of Animals have revised their claim. The growers now claim only indirect losses rather than direct losses. Australian Wool Innovation said international retailers cancelled "many" orders as a result of PETA’s lobbying over the practice of mulesing.
