Mulesing campaign spreads
28 Mar 2008

Activists campaigning to stop the practice of mulesing will stage a demonstration outside the Australian embassy in the Danish capital of Copenhagen. People for Ethical Treatment of Animals has been organising protests in a number of major European cities in the hope of getting more major retailers to boycott wool from mulesed sheep. "Viable alternatives to mulesing exist and as long as they aren't being used, more and more Danes will boycott Australian wool," said their campaigns director Joh Vinding.
